The Nelson’s 2009 Christmas Letter

Bridget
Bridget is an excellent artist, even by adult standards, both by hand and on
the computer. This past summer she attended an art camp that included museum
tours. Her creativity also includes writing. She is in 5th grade at
Heritage Christian School, gets mostly “A”s, and got a blue ribbon on her
science fair project.
Ian
Ian is a junior at Curtis Senior High School, active in cross-country and
track, and is enrolled in three advanced placement classes. This year he
attended a career day event at the Boeing Developmental Center, Dad’s work
place. He likes to go shooting with his uncles and grandfathers.
Hether
Hether is still an avid skater and performed in two local talent ice shows
this year. She loves her fitness activities and leads a weekly Zumba class at
her health club. In June she finished a year of serving as Secretary of the Day
Island Yacht Club. Hether asks for you to remember her father, Mickey, in your
prayers. He is currently undergoing chemotherapy.

Praise the LORD, O my soul,
and forget not all his benefits-
who forgives all your sins
and heals all your diseases,
who redeems your life from the pit
and crowns you with love and compassion,
who satisfies your desires with good things
so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.
(Psalm 103:2-5 NIV)
